Norma Robison, 89, of Idaho Falls, died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Lincoln Court in Idaho Falls.
She was born July 24, 1924, in Lorenzo, Idaho to Edmond Pabst and Dora Hall Pabst. She was raised in Menan and Lorenzo and attended schools in Menan. On July 26, 1940, she married Golden Dean Robison in Archer; their marriage was solemnized I the Idaho Falls LDS Temple July 27, 1948, he preceded her in death. On June 2, 2001, she married Rulon Clark in Idaho Falls; he also preceded her in death. She worked as a seamstress making draperies.
Norma was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many capacities and was called to serve a fulltime mission to the LDS Family History Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. She loved to crochet and made many afghans that were donated all over the world. She also enjoyed singing and sang in a choir at the World’s Fair in Spokane, Washington.
Norma is survived by her daughters, Theda (LaMar) Bischoff, of Pocatello, Shanda (Don) Furniss, of Rigby, Lola Nelson, of Bonnie Lake, Washington, sons; Barry (Bertha Lou) Robison, of Lewiston, Oregon, Alan (Barbara) Robison of Salt Lake City, Utah, Fred (Lynn) Robison, of Gilbert, Arizona, sister; Faye “Pat” Walker, of Idaho Falls, brother; Ray (Jan) Pabst, of Idaho Falls, 18 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and a granddaughter, Lora Bischoff.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 8, 2013, at the Rigby 8th Ward LDS Chapel 364 N. 4100 E., Rigby. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby, and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
