Norman Dee Hunting, 76, of Rigby, passed away January 14, 2016 at his home following a short illness. Norman was born on May 20, 1939, in Rigby, a son to George and Rhonda Hunting. Norman married Bonnie Jardine on May 25, 1957 in Pocatello, Idaho. They were blessed with three children, two daughters and a son. Norman had a love for camping, hunting, fishing, and boating in Island Park. He worked as a mechanic at the Sugar Factory for 18 years and over 30 years at Idahoan Foods. He did many other various jobs to keep life interesting and to keep from sitting. The last 2 years he drove bus for Teton Stage Lines and found a new enjoyment from the kids on the bus. He enjoyed seeing them and hearing their stories. Norman is survived by his wife Bonnie, his two daughters: Sandy (Robert) Grove of Idaho Falls, and Annette (Greg) Egan of Parrish Florida, a son: Darrell (Deb) Hunting of Caldwell, 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Norman was preceded by his parents, two brothers: Verdale and Arnold, and three sisters: Wanda Weeks, Venda Siddoway, and Joyce Hunting. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 18, 2016, at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery at 11:00 am. The family will be receiving family and friends Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 am, prior to the service at Eckersell Memorial Chapel. In lieu of Flowers the family asks that you donate to Wells Fargo Bank in Bonnie Huntings name.
