Orrin Craig Jensen, 27, of Rigby, died Saturday, January 30, 2010.
He was born June 5, 1982, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Nels Craig Jensen and Lovina Ann Welker Jensen. He grew up and attended school in Sugar City, until the age of 16, when he moved to Idaho Falls, and finished his Jr. and Sr. Year, graduating from Skyline High School. On July 1, 2004, he married Heather Pauline Rolfe in Rigby, together they had 4 children.
He worked for the Development Workshop Inc., in Idaho Falls where he was a beloved Life Skills Aid. His tender spirit and generous heart provided blessings for clients and co-workers alike. He also worked as an auto body mechanic and painter at the Ding Genie in Rigby, where his artistic skills, honed by years of loving practice and application, were one of his great strengths. He very much enjoyed music, sculpting, and drawing. He also enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding and the outdoors. Orrin was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was totally devoted to and completely loved his wife and children.
He is survived by his wife; Heather Jensen, children; Aidan Shayne Jensen, Gage Matthew Jensen, Jace Orrin Jensen, Alivia Marie Jensen, all of Rigby, parents; Nels and Ann Jensen, of Idaho Falls, sisters, Tricia (Brad) Duenweg, of Fayetteville, NC, Randi (Christopher) Gohl, of Idaho Falls, brothers; Dana (Aimee) Jensen, of Great Falls, MT, Christian Jensen, of Idaho Falls, grandparents; Orrin Welker, of Rigby, and Marie Jensen, of Columbus, IN.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather; Albert F. Jensen and Grandmother; Eula Joann Welker.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 4, 2010, at the Rigby 14th Ward LDS Chapel, 602 Sundance, Rigby, with Bishop David Grant, conducting. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Thursday, prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel, in Rigby.
