Othella Luella Erickson

Othella Luella Jensen Erickson, 94 of Arco, Idaho died Friday, January 7, 2005 in Arco, Idaho. She was born February 7, 1910 in Lewisville, Idaho the daughter of James B. and Julia Petrina Peterson Jensen. She attended school in Roberts, Idaho. She worked as a reporter for the Rigby newspaper and for Gem State Insurance as an insurance agent and was a well known author and poet. She lived in Arizona for a short time where she worked at a child care center. She loved to write and wrote numerous stories as a member of the Authors Guild. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews including, Lucille Cottle of Salt Lake City, Utah; Vern (Opal) Kinghorn and Craig Jensen of Ogden, Utah; Ron Kinghorn of Sugar City, Idaho; Raliegh (Linda) Jensen of Boise, Idaho; Robert Jensen of California; Shirley (Dean) Craghead of Brigham City, Utah; Gaye Powell of Montezuma, Iowa; Joyce (Richard) Ousley and Romalee (Richard) Taylor of Golden Valley, Arizona; Fred (Sherry) Jardine of Sandy, Utah; Darel (Christi) Jardine of Price, Utah; Linda (Steve) Nelson of Mendon, Utah; Rusty (Danelle) Jardine of Fallon, Nevada; Ron (Carol) Jardine, Marvin (Deanna) Jardine, Hal (Cindy) Jardine and Elaine Jason all of Arco, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and spouses. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Eckersell Memorial Chapel. The family and friends will meet one hour prior to services at Eckersell Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
