Owen Lynn Davis

Owen Lynn Davis, 62 of Carmen, Idaho, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at Steele Memorial Center in Salmon, Idaho.

Owen was born June 21, 1960 in Leadore, Idaho to Raymond H. Davis Jr. and Rhea Ellen Smithies Davis.  He was raised and attended schools in Ririe, Idaho.  Following high school, he enlisted in the US Army.  Owen was a Jack-of-all-trades.  He worked on various farms throughout the area; worked in construction in the Salmon area and also worked as a mechanic.

Owen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He enjoyed cooking; he loved the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.  Owen was kind hearted, he loved visiting with people and making new friends.

He is survived daughters, Breanna Davis, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Brandy Avalos of Denver, Colorado; son, Benjamin Avalos of Denver, Colorado; step-daughters Nicole (Deejay) Exeter of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Jennifer (Joe) Rocker of Rigby, Idaho; sister, Linda Becker of Pennsylvania; brother, Thomas Fox; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Laurie Ann Fox Johnson and 2 brothers, Earl Ray Hill and Guy Bradford Fox Jr.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2022 at Eckersell Funeral Home, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby.
