Pablo N. Garcia, age 85, of Idaho Falls, formerly of Lewisville, died Monday, August 20, 2012 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Pablo was born January 27, 1927 in Guasti, San Barnardino County, California a son to Jose Garcia and Carmen Nieto Garcia. He was raised in California, Mexico, Texas, and moved to Lewisville in 1981.
He married Trinidad Garcia on April 15, 1981 in Rigby, Idaho. He worked at Menan Produce, Walker Farms, Larsen Farms, Clement Brothers and Ball Brothers until 2001. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
He enjoyed spending time with family and telling stories of when he was growing up. He was a strong friendly guy.
He is survived by his wife Trinidad Garcia of Idaho Falls, daughters: Teresa Ruiz, Martha Barrientos and Luzy Elena Ruiz all of Idaho Falls, Monica Garcia of York, Nebraska, Tina Garcia of Logan, Utah and Melisa Garcia of Lincoln Nebraska, Sons: Rafael Garcia and Luis (Beto) Garcia both of Idaho Falls, Mike Garcia of New York, Jose Garcia of Boise, Idaho, and Tony Garcia of Lincoln, Nebraska, a brother Manuel Garcia of Mexico, 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 grandson and 1 great granddaughter.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ the King Catholic Church 17th and Woodruff in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends on Thursday August 23RD from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
