Pamela Joan Grover

Pamela Joan Yazzie Grover, 48, of Ririe, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. She was born November 20, 1960, in Rigby, to Woody Raymond Yazzie and LaJuan Ricks Yazzie. She attended Ririe schools, and graduated from Ricks College. On December 19, 1981, she married Reed Arlo Grover in Ririe. She worked at Westmark Credit Union, and the INL, in Emergency Services. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed summer family reunions, flowers and her garden, yard work, crafts, her dogs, hunting, camping, and was an excellent cook. Pamela was a favorite aunt to all of her nieces and nephews, and she loved to have them over for sleepovers and movies, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Reed Arlo Grover, a son, Ryan Benjamin Grover, her mother, LaJuan Ricks Yazzie, all of Ririe, two sisters, Julie (Kenneth) Fagnant, of Lava Hot Springs, Nadine (Don) Peterson, of Idaho Falls, three brothers, Douglas (Marianne) Yazzie, of Syracuse, UT, Michael (Rusty) Yazzie, of Moreland, Patrick Yazzie, of Alpine, WY, and grandmothers, Alice Ricks,of Ririe, Jane Woody of Rough Rock, AZ. She was preceded in death by her father, Woody Yazzie and her grandfathers, Ben Ricks, and Benjamin Woody. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 31, 2009, at the Ririe Stake Center, with Bishop Dan Skene, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, at the Stake Center. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
