Pat Walker, 89, of Rigby, passed away, Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Pat was born April 10, 1926 in Lorenzo, Idaho a daughter to Edmond Ahart Pabst and Dora Hall Pabst. She grew up and attended schools in Menan and Hamer. She graduated from Hamer High School. She trained as a telegrapher and worked for the railroad as a telegraph operator. On April 17, 1946 she married Gail Walker in Hamer, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple, April 19, 1978. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She loved to sew, was an avid bowler, enjoyed nature and going for walks. She was active in 4-H and was a 4-H judge in Idaho and Wyoming. She volunteered at the voting poles for many years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a primary chorister and sang in the Ward Choir. She is survived by her daughters: Mauna Pat (Terry) Kerwell of Ammon, Peggy Ann (Ren) Kauer of Rigby, Becky Sue (Dean) Swallow of Pocatello and Nelda Gae (Rick) Mullins of Maricopa, Arizona, her brother: Ray (Jan) Pabst of Idaho Falls, thirteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gail, her son Kail Lynn Walker, three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 5th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., in the Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home, Sunday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
