Paul William Grifftih, age 65, of Rigby, died Sunday, July 13, 2003, at the Idaho Falls Care Center.
Paul was born April 27, 1938, in San Bernardino, California the son of Frank Elvis Griffith and Maurine Alberta Knitter Griffith. Paul graduated from Pacific High School in San Bernardino, California. He attended two years at the San Bernardino Valley College in business. Paul married Gwen Ellen Briggs on November 9, 1965 in Rigby, Idaho. He worked for the INEEL as a security guard for 17 years, and as a courier and bookkeeper. Paul served in the Army from September 1961 until September 1963. Paul was a loving father, a good provider, and a good friend to those who knew him. He had a contagious laugh and a bright smile. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially through the holidays and on family vacations. He loved his children and grandchildren and gave lots of valuable counsel to them. He enjoyed being outdoors working in his yard, traveling, and collecting coins and stamps. Paul was one who loved the Lord and endured to the end. His life was a gift to all of us. We love him and will miss him greatly.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rigby East Stake Center with Bishop David Briggs officiating. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday night from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel and prior to the services at the church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow the services at the Sutton Cemetery in Archer under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel.
