Paula Ann Erhard, 55 of Rigby, Idaho passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Paula was born April 18, 1966 in Orange, California, the daughter of James Noel Bollschweiler and Karma Lee Braithwaite Bollschweiler.
Paula attended Bolsa Grande High School graduating in 1984. After High school, she worked as a Legal Secretary and then a Receptionist in Orange, California. She later worked in Riverside, California as an Administrator in a Neo-natal and Maternity hospital. She attended Orange Coast College earning an Associates Degree.
On April 29, 2005 Paula married Charles “Chip” Merritt Erhard III in the Redlands Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They later moved to Idaho where she worked as a Student Assistant at Brigham Young University of Idaho. She was also enrolled as a student and was working on her Bachelors Degree.
Paula was always seeking education to be a better and well-rounded person. She loved to do counted cross-stitch and had made some amazing cross-stitched art. She has always loved Temple and Family History work and was serving in her ward as a Temple and Family History Consultant.
Paula’s first and foremost love was that as a mother. Chip and Paula were able to adopt two children, a son, Charles M. Erhard IV and a daughter, Mary Pauline Erhard. She is survived by her husband and children. Also sisters; Clare (Mark) Sheppard, Rebecca Noel (Karl) Rothe, and Leighann Taylor. She had one brother, Fred James (Angelica) Bollschweiler. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service for Paula will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 5:00 PM at the Rigby 2 nd Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, (4021 East 300 North, Rigby, Idaho 83442).
The family will meet with friends prior to the service from 3:30 to 5:00 PM at the church. Interment will be in the Manti City Cemetery, in Manti, Utah on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 12:00 noon.
