Paula Lynne Morrison

Paula Lynne Morrison, 67, passed away at her home in Idaho Falls on Monday, February 13, 2023.

Paula was born on January 21, 1956 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Bert R. Dixon and Phyllis Nebeker Dixon. Growing up, Paula attended various schools as the family moved around to different areas with the Army.

After high school, Paula joined the Army and spent some time enlisted. On October 2, 1976, Paula married the love of her life, Clarence Ray Morrison in Reno, Nevada. Together, they have six children, four daughters and two sons. During Paula’s life, she worked for various nursing homes and hospice facilities as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), which she loved doing.

Paula was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed helping people in need, whether it include talking with them, or anything.

Some of the things that brought Paula joy are cats, butterfingers and chasing her kids and grandchildren around with dead lizards and her dentures.

Paula is survived by her husband of 46  years, Clarence; daughters: Tina (Randy) Odom of Oroville, CA, Pamela Morrison of Oroville, CA, Rhonda Marie (Todd) Thornton of Idaho Falls, ID, Laura Kay (Dennis) Clements of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sons: Clarence Lee Morrison of Oroville, CA, and Hubert Eugene (Karen) Morrison of Oroville, CA; sisters Leda (Larry) Hayes of CA, Whitney Dixon of Fresno, CA; and brother Tim (Karen) Dixon of Selma, CA. Paula has 27 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, one nephew and two nieces.

She is preceded by her parents: Bert and Phyllis Dixon; sister Sidney LaFaye Allen; brother Kelly Dixon; and nephew Zackary Kelly Dixon.

Graveside Services for Paula will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at the Iona Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
