Pauline Dale Jackson

December 7, 1947 — August 2, 2025

Pauline Dale Berry Jackson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family, on August 2, 2025, in Lewisville, Idaho, at the age of 77. She was born on December 7, 1947, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Don Clinton Berry and Zina Anderson Berry. Pauline was the second of nine children and treasured her siblings—Brenda, Judy, Dona, Randy, Jolene, Terry, Rhonda, and Michael—throughout her life.

Pauline married the love of her life, Lawrence (Larry) Stanley Jackson, and together they built a beautiful life over their 61 years of marriage.  Their bond was one of deep affection, steady friendship, and a shared sense of fun.  Together they raised six children- Tammy, Kelly, Jimmy, Vickie, Jenny and Rachael-teaching them by example how to work hard, love deeply and laugh often.  Their home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the kind of love that shows up every day, in big ways and small.  Pauline's legacy continues through her 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A woman of wit, determination, and compassion, Pauline first earned her beautician certificate, using her talents to lovingly provide haircuts and perms for her family—especially during back-to-school season. Later in life, she courageously pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse. In 1993, she graduated from Idaho State University with a bachelor’s in science and went on to be an RN at Dr. Huntington’s office and at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC), where her caring nature and expertise touched countless lives.

Pauline had a deep love for reading, crocheting, camping, cooking and spending time with her family. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. As a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she found great joy in serving in the Temple and dedicating herself to missionary and family history work. She truly embodied the Savior’s love through her service, nurturing spirit, and unwavering testimony.

Pauline had a remarkable gift for making others feel seen, heard and deeply loved.  She genuinely loved spending time with people-whether it was chatting on the phone, offering heartfelt advice, or simply listening with her full attention.  Her door was always open and so was her heart.   Pauline had a way of making everyone feel included, important, and cared for.  She had a natural ability to sense when someone needed a little extra love and was never too busy to offer a comforting word or a helping hand.  Her kindness and empathy created a lasting ripple effect that touched the lives of so many.

Pauline is survived by her husband, Larry; her children, Tammy Jackson of Idaho Falls, ID;  Lawrence Kelly (Robin) Jackson of Idaho Falls, ID; Jimmy Jackson of Idaho Falls, ID; Amy Jackson of Idaho Falls, ID;  Vickie (Brandyn Muir) Jackson of Pocatello, ID; Jenny (Darryn) Spencer of Pocatello, ID; and Rachael Jackson of Blackfoot, ID; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents and two cherished grandchildren, Allan Stanley Jackson and Kyle Payton Henrie.

She will be remembered for her strength, warm embrace, and endless capacity to love. Her influence will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Lewisville 1st Ward for the incredible love, kindness, and support shown during this tender time.  Your meals, visits, prayers and service have brought comfort and strength to our hearts, and we are deeply grateful for the community that has surrounded us with such Christlike care.
