Peggy Lee Austin

Peggy Lee Austin, 56, of Rexburg, passed away October 12, 2008, at her home. She was born, August 28, 1952, in Afton Wyoming, to Griffith VanNoy Roberts and ElDora Joyce Lee Roberts. She was raised in Menan, attended school there, and then graduated from Rigby High School. On May 21, 1971, she married Jesse LeRoy Austin, in Twin Falls, Idaho. She worked at Artco, in Rexburg, doing wedding invitations. Peggy enjoyed crocheting, sewing camping, spending time with her grandchildren and singing Karaoke. She is survived by her husband, Jesse Austin, of Rexburg, daughters, Shanna Ranae (Hilarion) Linares, of Roberts, Roxane Marie Austin, of Pocatello, Bobbie Jo (Jake) Clayton, of Rexburg, a son, Tony Joe (Nsa) Austin, of Atlanta, Georgia, her mother, Joyce Roberts, of Menan, sisters, Terry (Brady) White, of Menan, Vicky (Jose) Leal, of Lewisville, Betty (Don) Berg, of Port Orchard, Washington, Marie Huberner, of Nampa, Idaho, Diane (Kirk) Collier, of Menan, Tracie Hilleshem, of Menan, brothers, Griff Roberts, of Menan, George (Char) Roberts, of Tremonton, Utah, David (Diane) Roberts, of Menan, Larry (Cathy) Roberts, of Eunice, New Mexico, and eleven grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2008, at the home of Joyce Roberts, 653 N. 3515 E., Menan, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
