Peggy Jo Bell

Peggy Jo Bell, age 66, of Roberts, died at home Monday, March 12, 2007. She was born February 22, 1941 at Rexburg, Idaho a daughter to Lyle Melvin Birch and Merle Strong Birch. She attended Ashton, Idaho Schools graduating from North Fremont High School. She attended Ricks College. She married David Harker Bell, November 17, 1961 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She lived her entire married life in Roberts. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving as president of the Primary, Relief Society and Young Women’s organizations. She taught Kindergarten in her home for several years. She enjoyed piano, sewing, trail-rides, gardening, her children and grandchildren, was a great farmers wife and homemaker who lived a life of service. She is survived by her husband David Harker Bell of Roberts, one son Steven (Cheryl) Bell of Roberts, three daughters: Janet Elizabeth (Rory) Pancheri of Howe, Idaho, Lori Ann (Lee) Burtenshaw of Terreton, and Christine (Brian) Berrett of Pocatello, two brothers: Dale (Eloise) Birch of Willard, Utah and Larry (Susan) Birch of Washington, 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Margaret. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. in the Roberts LDS Church with Bishop Mitch Scott officiating. The family will visit with friends at the Roberts LDS Church, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Friday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
