Penny Linne Buckland

Penny Linne Buckland Dilworth, 62, of Idaho Falls, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. She was born April 5, 1949, in Carey, Idaho to Melvin Reed Dilworth and Val Jean Draper Dilworth. She was raised and attended schools in Idaho Falls. Penny loved children and ran a day care center in her home for 12 years, and she dedicated many hours counting Box Tops for Education. She especially loved being with her kids and grandkids, fishing, camping and playing cards. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, and Book Clubs, Bible Clubs and Card Clubs. She also enjoyed reading, watching T.V. shows, movies, and bird watching. Penny had a big heart and she gave generously to Cancer for Kids, The American Heart Association, The VFW, and Easter Seals. She was the best mom and nana ever and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughters; Amber (Bob Sterling) Howe, of Idaho Falls, Burdette Howe, of Idaho Falls, Crossette (Cody) Neville, of Idaho Falls, sons; Asher Burgess, of Oregon, Bartt Howe, of Portland, Oregon, Corey (Alicia) Buckland, of Idaho Falls, sisters; Patsy (Terrill) Thornock, of Idaho Falls, Paula McCrae, of New Mexico, Paulette Dilworth, of New Mexico, brothers; Bruce (Mert) Dilworth, of Idaho Falls, Blake (Linda) Dilworth, Brent Dilworth, of Driggs, Bradley (Jean Ann) Dilworth of Caldwell, and 8 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
