Perry DeWayne Humphrey, 30, of Rigby, died Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
He was born August 2, 1983 in Huntsville, Alabama to Perry Wade Humphrey and Nita Jane Shores Humphrey. He was raised in Kelso, Tennessee and attended Flintville Elementary and Jr. High School; he graduated from Lincoln County High School. He continued his education at Motlow State College in Tennessee and Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. He worked for Target, Idaho Falls Group Homes and for Center Partners.
Perry was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as the Elders Quorum President. He enjoyed Football, Snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, shooting and NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Humphrey, daughters, Kaylee Logyn Humphrey, Jaidyn Marie Humphrey, sons, Perry Robert “Robbie” Humphrey, Samuel Wade Humphrey, all of Rigby, his parents, Perry and Nita Humphrey, of Elora Tennessee, sister, Ashley Leann Smith, of Flintville, Tennessee and a brother Christopher (Kerri) Shores, of Fayetteville, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2013 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:50 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
