Phillip Eric Brunson

Phillip Eric Brunson, 57, of Rigby, died Sunday, January 12, 2014 at his home. Phillip was born December 29, 1956, in Pocatello, Idaho to Frank E. Brunson Sr. and LaRue Clements Brunson. He was raised and attended schools in Pocatello. On September 28, 1991, he married Brenda Chandler in Island Park. He worked as a Truck Driver in the construction industry throughout his life. He was a member of Living Faith Christian Church in Idaho Falls and a member of the Local 983 Teamsters Union. He loved hunting, four-wheeling, snow-machining, fishing, camping and living in the mountains. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Brunson, of Rigby, daughters, Jessica Cyr, of Rigby, Cassandra Danielson, of Idaho Falls, son, Jasper (Jennifer) Cyr, of Jackson, Wyoming, father, Frank Brunson Sr., of Island Park, sisters, Vicki Brunson, of Pocatello, Debroah (Roy) Brunson Duke, of Temperance, Michigan, brother, Frank Brunson Jr., of Pocatello, and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, LaRue C. Brunson, brothers, Darrell Brunson, Bobby Brunson and an infant brother. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., prior to services at funeral home. Burial will be in the Rexburg Cemetery, services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby.
