Preston George Beasley, age 68, of Lewisville, died at the Rexburg Nursing and Rehab in Rexburg, Sunday June 30, 2013. Preston was born April 23, 1945 at Blackfoot, Idaho a son to Milton George Beasley and Rita Adams Beasley. He was raised in Shelley, Blackfoot, Fort Hall and Pocatello. He married Alvirena Jane Waters, July 31, 1965 in Casper, Wyoming. He worked for Golden Valley, Casper Concrete and West Way Express as a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, arrowhead hunting and music, playing with the Montana Cattle Drive Band. He won the Wrangler Country Showdown Talent Contest. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by his wife Alvirena Beasley of Lewsiville, a daughter Bridgette Celeste Shore of Cody, Wyoming, sons; Preston George (Ethel “Bunny”) Beasley Jr. of Riverton, Wyoming and Wesley Alvin (Laurie) Beasley of Big Piney, Wyoming, his mother Rita Beasley of Gillette, Wyoming, a sister Robin (Lonnie) Shepperson of Gillette, Wyoming, brothers: Clint Beasley of Meteetsee, Wyoming, Bueford (Lyn) Beasley of Bellview, Washington, Justin Beasley of Story, Wyoming, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Larae Richmond. Funeral services will be held Monday July 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lewisville 1st Ward LDS Chapel. The family will visit with friends on Monday at the church from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Interment will take place in the Lewisville Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
