Priscilla Glover, age 96, of Rigby, passed away at Sage Grove Assisted Living in Rigby, Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
Priscilla was born April 10, 1922 in Rexburg, Idaho a daughter to Edgar Clyde Rock and Louisa Eggertz Rock. She grew up in and attended schools in Menan and attended Midway High School. She married William Guy Harrington November 14, 1942 in LaBelle, Idaho but were later divorced. She then met and married Carl Beck in 1968 and later divorced. In 1979 she married Eugene R Glover in San Bernardino, California he later preceded her in death. She worked as a shift supervisor for Youshino Produce in Othello, Washington, in the shipyards in San Diego, California during World War II as a coppersmith, Olan Mills, selling city directories from Ohio to California, and in San Bernardino as a laundry supervisor and custodial supervisor.
She enjoyed Reading. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving as Compassionate Service Leader.
She is survived by her daughter Rena Marie (Louis - deceased) New of Katy, Texas, four grandchildren, Lela Marie (Greg) Porter, Louis C New Jr. and Lance New, nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene Glover, five brothers, Leo Edward (Cora) Rock, Lloyd J Rock, Charles Everett (Edna) Rock, Henry William (Norma) Rock, sister Norma Giralda Rock (Walt) Drummond and a granddaughter, Linda.
Funeral services will be held Monday June 18, 2018 at Lewisville 1 st Ward at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Roger Nield conducting. The family will visit with friends on Sunday evening from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel and prior to the service on Monday from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. The family offers a big thanks to Aspen Home Health and Hospice and Sage Grove Assisted Living for their care and compassion.Sunday, June 17, 2018
