Ralph William Summers

Ralph William Summers, age 81, of Rigby and Ririe area died Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at the Beehive Homes of Rexburg. Ralph was born April 30, 1922 in Rigby, Idaho the son of Joseph Benjamin Summers and Georgia Nettie Leona Harris Summers. He attended school in the Clark area. He married Yoshiko Summers in Tokyo, Japan in 1956. Ralph joined the Army in 1941. He served in the military for 30 years. Ralph farmed in the Clark area. Survivors include his wife Yoshiko Summers of Tacoma, Washington, Sisters Rita Barnes from Ririe, Idaho, Betty Poole of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Brothers, Ernest “Bud” Summers of Ririe, Idaho. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, and Esther Elaine Christensen a sister. Memorial services will be held on Monday, June16, 2003, at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow after the services in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
