Ramona Jane Clark, age 79, died Saturday October 17, 2009 at Pinebrook Care Center in Rigby.
She was born September 8, 1930 at Antelope, Idaho a daughter to Horace Robert McMurtrey and Cora Minilla Fox. She attended Clark Elementary and graduated from Rigby High School. She married Charles Jesse Clark April 29, 1950 at Ririe, Idaho.
She was a member of the LDS Church serving as a visiting teacher and librarian. She enjoyed bowling on a bowling league for many years, working in her yard and raising a garden.
She is survived by two daughters Patricia (Doyle) Wallace of Ririe and Sheila Clark of Provo, Utah, three sons; Rodney (Lupe) Clark of Idaho Falls, Gary (Nan) Clark of Italy, Texas and Steven Clark of Ririe, one sister Hazel (Larry) Jensen of Blackfoot, two brothers; Jim (Leona) McMurtrey of St. Anthony, Verl (Bonnie) McMurtrey of Rigby, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Charles Jesse Clark, five brothers and a great grandson Cameron Crane Clark.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ririe 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, 285 2nd West, Ririe, with Bishop Alan Young officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
