Randall Ralph Christesen

Randall Ralph Christesen, 53, of Idaho Falls, died at his home July 4, 2006. He was under Hospice Care. Randall was born June 26, 1953 at Rigby, Idaho a son of Ralph Allen Christesen and Nona Frances Smithies Christesen. He attended schools in Ucon graduating from Bonneville High School. He joined the United States Air Force and eventually made it a career serving as a Mechanic and then Crew Chief. Randall was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He married Debra K. Born in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. He met and married Sun Cha Han in Seoul, South Korea and they married December 27, 1977. They lived in South and North California, Alaska, Germany and Korea. After retirement he worked for Aero Mark Incorporated and Pacific Fighters in Idaho Falls. He has been a member of the American Legion and the Rexburg Gun Club. He enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, camping and television. He is survived by his wife Sun Cha Christesen of Idaho Falls, daughter, Tammy Lynn Christesen of Idaho Falls, son, Randall Steven (Pam) of Ucon, his mother, Nona Frances Christesen of Lorenzo sister Bonnie Jean Grant (David) of Ririe, brothers, Robert A Christesen (Carolyn) of Riverton, Utah and Richard F Christesen (Megan) of Yorbalinda, California. He was preceded in death by his father Ralph. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 7, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby with Bishop Rod Furniss officiating. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Friday for one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. Military rites will be presented by the Rigby Veterans Team.
