Randy J Hillman

Randy J Hillman, 66, of Rexburg, Idaho passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 in Rexburg. He was the son of Ralph Lucas Hillman and Barbara Jean Jensen Hillman, born, August 26, 1955. Randy was raised in Plano, Idaho and attended school in Sugar City, Idaho. He farmed and ranched in Plano, Kilgore and Hamer, Idaho. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He took advantage of the beautiful Idaho wilderness. He liked to go hunting, fishing and riding horses. He was always helpful to everyone. He was kind and generous and would often offer insights to those that needed a listening ear. Randy is survived by his sons, Jamie (Christina) Hillman of Rexburg, Idaho and Jarrod R Hillman of Boise, Idaho. His sister, Sherri (Lyle) Powell of Plano, Idaho and brother’s, Nick (Jackie) Hillman and Ron (Annette) Hillman both of Hamer, Idaho. Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Randy was preceded in death by his parents and wife. We share our love and appreciation for the wonderful care of Randy by his granddaughter, BaLei Hillman for the two and a half years that she cared for him and also to the staff and nurses at Homestead Assisted Living in Rexburg. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Eckersell Funeral Home (101 West Main Street, Rigby, ID 83442) from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. The family will gather on Monday, January 10, 2022 at the Grant Central Cemetery at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Grant Central Cemetery.
