Rebecca Fiona Emfield

Rebecca Fiona Emfield, 25 of Pocatello, Idaho, Passed away Tuesday, November 9,2021 at her home. She struggled for years with substance abuse and worked hard in her recovery. We are all so proud of her fighting nature and all her successes. She had fallen ill just before passing away.

Rebecca was born July 6, 1996 in Pocatello, Idaho to Aaron Allan Emfield and Avril Jean Ward Emfield. She attended schools in Pocatello; Tendoy Elementary, Franklin Middle School, Century Highschool, and graduated from Pocatello High School in 2014. She planned to attend cosmetology school and was completing the application process at the time of her death. She was very creative and an amazing artist and sculpture.

Rebecca was crazy smart, dedicated, and a loving person. She was loyal to a fault and would do anything for friends, family, and even complete strangers. She was an amazing hard worker. Was currently working two full time jobs. She was not afraid to try any kind of job and could outwork most men. At age 10 she had a paper route; she always arrived early and took pride in her work. She loved and appreciated the outdoors; rock climbing and rappelling, or just enjoying the beauty around her. She also loved to workout and was up early each morning to exercise. Despite her own struggles, she was always there for others. We will miss her deeply.

She loved her family and spending all her available time with them. She is survived by her parents, Aaron and Avril Emfield of Pocatello, Idaho; Sisters, Kirstine (Greg Thompson) Emfield of Rigby, Idaho, Amina-Ann (Moritz) Ruppert of Pocatello, Idaho; Brother, Karl Emfield of Pocatello, Idaho; grandparents, John and May Willavoys of Cheltenham, England, Gary Emfield of Inkom, Idaho; and nieces and nephews; Keyaira Thompson, Kendra Thompson, Kegan Thompson, and Karter Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Sara-Jane Emfield; Grandmother Tove Emfield and Grandfather, Roger Ward.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Monte Vista Ward Chapel; 930 E. Alameda Road, Pocatello, Idaho. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, November 15 and from 9:30-10:45 a.m., Tuesday November 16, both at the church. Interment will follow at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
