Reece Sharp

Reece Charles Sharp, 76, of Rigby, died Tuesday morning, December 31, 2013 at the Gardens Assisted Living in Rigby. He was born September 5, 1937, in Rexburg, ID to Glenn Charles Sharp of Lyman and Iva Jeanette Nelson of Archer. He grew up in Archer and attended schools in both Archer and Rexburg. He was a member of the LDS church. He worked for Burrgraf Construction for 38 years and retired in 1996. He enjoyed buying cars and traveling throughout the intermountain west. He was a member of Local 370 Union. Reece is survived by his wife Jill Sharp, his three daughters Joy Lyn (Larry) Weeks of Grace, Idaho, Helen Anne Sharp of Lawrence, Kansas, Amanda Elizabeth Wilde of Roy, Utah, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two sons Bradly Reece and Todd Reece, and his four daughters Shellie Kim, Robin Lee, Lynda Lea and infant daughter. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2014 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main St. Rigby, ID. The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:30 Friday prior to the service at Eckersell Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
