Regina Huntsman Aranda, a loving mother, daughter, and free spirit, passed away on September 12, 2024. Her presence was a source of strength, joy, and kindness to those who knew her. Regina’s greatest treasures in life were her children and her mother, whom she loved deeply and unconditionally.
Born and raised in Shelley, ID, Regina had a passion for adventure from a young age. She often reminisced with laughter and pride about her youthful escapades—including the times she got caught racing cars through town. Her stories were a testament to her bold spirit and her zest for life.
Regina was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Krista Waters. She is survived by her devoted mother, Evelyn Travis; her sons, Steven Waters and Travis Waters; and her daughters, Veronica Morris, Jessica Melu, Andrea Carranza, and Amelia Smith. Her legacy of love and resilience lives on in each of them.
Regina was known for her selflessness and generosity. Even during her own hardships, she never hesitated to help others. She had a creative soul—teaching herself to play the acoustic guitar and finding peace and expression through poetry.
Her warmth, her stories, and her unwavering love will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to know her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she gave so freely in life.
A celebration of Regina’s life will be held on June 21, 2025 at the Lewisville Cemetery at 12:00.
