Reva Lavon Hill, 79, of Rexburg, died at home Tuesday, January 30, 2007.
Reva was born June 23, 1927 at Idaho Falls a daughter to Albert Leland Hobley and Ida Wilkins Hobley. She attended Rigby and Ucon Schools. She married Horace Edmund Hill, September 6, 1947 in Rexburg. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple March 14, 1951. In her early married life she worked as a telephone operator in Rigby. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served with her husband in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple for 20 years. She worked as a secretary in the Physical Plant at Ricks College and retired after 20 years.
She is survived by her husband Horace Edmund Hill of Rexburg, two daughters: Kathy Joy Westfall of Temple City, California and Tamara Kaye Edwards of Nevada, one son DeWayne A. Hill of Tucson, Arizona, two sisters: Eva Avery of Medford, Oregon and Elda Sucher of Idaho Falls, one brother Jay Hobley of Rexburg, and 4 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Brent E. Hill, and a sister Faye Brooks.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lyman 1st Ward Church. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
