Reva Rae Mason, 91, of Rigby, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family on February 27, 2023.

She was born on February 22, 1932 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Wallace and LaVinda Cramer Robinson. She attended schools in Rigby and Idaho Falls.

Reva married Fred Olsen, they divorced. She later married Leon Aeschbacher on December 3, 1954 in the Idaho Falls Temple. He passed away in 1982. Reva married Sylvan Mason on February 14, 1986 in the Idaho Falls Temple.

During Reva’s life, she worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Mark Peterson and she also worked as a florist for J. Michaels.

Reva was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as President of Relief Society, Primary and Young Women’s, she also taught numerous classes.

Reva’s life was full of hobbies and things she enjoyed. She loved being outdoors, backpacking, four-wheeling, dirt biking, waterskiing, traveling and fishing trips to Alaska; cake decorating; sewing, and especially spending time with family.

She is preceded by her parents, spouse Leon Aeschbacher, two brothers, two sisters, a daughter-in-law, a step son and three granddaughters.

Reva is survived by her husband Sylvan Mason of Rigby, ID; daughters LaRae (Keith) Grover of Rigby ID, Dianna (Steven) Purser of Rigby ID, Karina Rorris of Pocatello ID; sons Wes (Nancy) Olsen of Rigby ID, Bryan (Teresa) Aeschbacher of Rigby ID, Lynn (Marcy) Aeschbacher of Idaho Falls ID, Craig (Tina) Aeschbacher of Rock Hill SC, and Glade (Audra) Mason of Rexburg ID. Reva cherished her 33 grandchildren, 97 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service for Reva will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rigby East Stake Center (4021 E 300 N Rigby ID 83442). Family will receive friends and family from 9:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Sutton Cemetery.
