Rex G Clark, age 68, of Annis, died at Idaho Falls Health and Rehab in Idaho Falls Thursday, June 12, 2008. Rex was born March 25, 1940 at Sugar City, Idaho a son to Glen and Elizabeth Saxton Clark.
He attended Sugar City Schools, graduating from Sugar Salem High School in 1958.
Following high school graduation he worked in potato warehouses, for farmers and at the Ford garage in Rexburg. He married Alice Louise Higley on June 3, 1960 in Thornton, Idaho. In 1963 he went to work at Roger Brothers Processing plant in Idaho Falls working mostly as a mechanic. He took on night work as an auto body repairman. In 1980 he went to work for Mid America Dairy as a mechanic. He went back to school at the E.I.T.C. and earned an associates degree in applied science. He enjoyed camping, fishing, horses, photography and spending time outdoors with his grandsons, Chris and Brian Meina.
He is survived by three daughters, Carla Mae Clark of Murray, Utah, Tina Louise Clark, and Linda Marie Clark, both of Annis, and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Louise, a daughter, Debra, three sisters Golda Barzee, Glenda Moore, Lola Attwood.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2008 at Menan Stake Center, with bishop Gary Sears, conducting. The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
