Rhea Warren Lott Higley

Rhea Warren Lott Higley, 89, of Idaho Falls, died Monday, December 30, 2013 at The Good Samaritan Society in Idaho Falls. She was born September 6, 1924, in Freedom, Wyoming to Ivan Walter Warren and Annie Stumpp Warren. She was raised and attended schools in Freedom, Wyoming, graduating from Star Valley High School. On April 5, 1946, she married Ira Glen Lott in Idaho Falls. He preceded her in death. On July 17, 1973, she married Harold Higley in Lyman. He also preceded her in death. Rhea worked at Idaho Fresh Pack for 27 years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Visiting Teacher, Primary Teacher and a Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed church activities, playing cards and other games, cooking, flowers and going to garage sales. She is survived by her daughters, June (Richard) Sheppard, of Annis, Ilene (Mickey) Davis, of Idaho Falls, sons, Wayne (Janice) Lott, of Deer Lodge, Montana, Eldon (Jeanette) Lott, of Idaho Falls, 11 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 9 great- great grandchildren . She was preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers and 2 sisters, and both husbands. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
