Richard Lee Cagle, age 73, passed away at his home in Rigby Thursday, January 20, 2022.
Richard was born January 5, 1949 in Akron, Ohio a son to Richard W. Cagle and Marion E. Martin Cagle. He attended schools in Hanford, California graduating from Hanford High School. He served in the United States Coast Guard from 1968 until 1974. He married Cheryl Dee Boberg August 5, 1972 in Cypress, California. After his service in the Coast Guard, he worked as a Diesel Mechanic on Heavy Equipment and then as a Refrigeration Specialist owning and operating Cagle Diversified Services.
He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in Madera 1 st Ward Bishopric and in the Elders Quorum. He served as Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America for 5 years. He loved the great outdoors hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl Cagle of Rigby, two daughters; Jennifer (Donald) Kloster of Madera, California and Shannon (Darren) Pahl of Honeyville, Utah, a son Payte (Kari) Cagle of Idaho Falls, Idaho, his step father Robert Taylor of Oak Run, California and a sister Pat (David) Rinehart of Stratford, California and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Floyd Cagle.
