Richard Lee Campbell

Richard Lee Campbell, 65, of Idaho Falls, died at Good Samaritan Center Wednesday, November 19, 2003. Richard was born November 24, 1937, at Rigby, Idaho a son of Gerven L. Campbell and Myrtle L. Johnson Campbell. He married Lois L. Selman, June 1, 1965 at Rigby, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He was in the National Guard in 1961. He worked in janitorial services for Bonneville School District 91 and 93. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Idaho Falls and of the Idaho Falls C.B. Club for many years. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Richard enjoyed watching all kinds of sports especially Altanta Braves Baseball and palling around with his dog Gypsy. Survivors include 1 daughter Jennie M. Campbell of Idaho Falls, 2 sons John M. (Pricillia) Campbell and Ricky (Bonnie) Campbell of Idaho Falls, 2 sisters Dorthy (Kent) Roberts of Southern, Utah and Ludeen Palmer of St. Anthony, a brother Jerry Campbell of Idaho Falls and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a daughter Christina, a sister Donna and a brother Leon. Services will be held Monday, November 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery following the funeral service.
