Richard James George Sr.

Richard James George Sr., of Roberts, passed away at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Thursday, March 29, 2018. He was born July 19, 1945 at Boston, Massachusetts a son to Richard J. George and Natalie MacNeal George.  He served in the United States Navy where he learned electrical engineering and repairing radar.  He worked for and co-owened Pacific Communications a private company for 30 years, Larsen Farms as maintenance manager for 15 years for Broadway Ford as a service writer and for the past 5 years he worked for Lucy’s Pizza. He served on the Roberts Planning & Zoning Commission.  He served as the Roberts City Planning and Zoning Coordinator. He married Patricia K O’Malley, November 21, 1998 in the Roberts Community Church in Roberts, Idaho. Survivors include his wife Patricia of Roberts, two daughters Monica MediNa-Murphy of Pocatello and Gina Thomas (Wife Marcia) of Roberts, three sons, Richard J. George Jr. (wife Sarah) of Idaho Falls, Daniel Z. George (wife Nickole) of Lehi, Utah, and Gary George (wife Amy) of San Diego, California, a sister Katherine Caruso (husband Phil) of Pembroke, Mass. And seventeen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held at the Roberts Community Church on Friday Apr. 6th at 11:00 am with a Meet n Greet from 10:15-11 am.
