Richard Wayne Johnson

Richard Wayne Johnson, age 54, passed away at his home, August 4th, 2024 at the age of 54.

Rick is predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer Shirlee Johnson, his wife, DeeDra Johnson, and his mom, Shirlee Johnson.

Rick is survived by his son, Levi Johnson, Daughter April (Shawn) Summers, Grandkids Bearret Heitman, Remington Johnson, Melodee Jacobson, and DeeDra Jacobson, his father Robert L. (Judy) Johnson, siblings Matthew (Suzanne) Johnson, Bradley (Elizabeth) Johnson, Nathan (Sunny) Johnson, Jolene (Bill) Snyder, and dozens of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Rick was born in Bountiful, Utah on November 6, 1969. He graduated from Bountiful High School in 1988, and married his high school sweetheart, DeeDra, on July 15th, 1988.

Rick enjoyed being outside with the grandkids, going on four-wheeler rides, camping, fishing, and living on the farm. His favorite thing in the world was his family.

Rick was a very intelligent and hardworking man. If he didn't know how to do something, he would figure it out himself. He enjoyed helping out the people he cared about. He always went above and beyond to make sure his family was taken care of.

Rick will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Graveside services and burial will be held at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, 1640 Lakeview Dr, Bountiful, Utah 84010 on Friday August 16th at 10:00 a.m., with Laine Eckersell officiating.
