Richard Larry Rooke

Richard Larry Rooke, age 60, of Rigby, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Richard was born on July 9, 1955 to Dick Arnold Grossnickle and Maxine Clayburn. Richard was raised in Wilson and Jackson Wyoming, he attended Wilson Elementary school and Jackson High School. Richard went to collage to the University of Maryland and received an Associate’s Degree in Drafting. He also attended the Cannoneer School while in the military. Richard married Angela Tolman on February 14, 1987 in Ashton, Idaho. They were later sealed to each other on January 25, 2014 in the Rexburg LDS Temple. Richard was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he enjoyed serving as a Boy Scout Leader. He enjoyed fly fishing on Warm River, hunting, snowmobiling, and anything outdoors. He worked for Dome Technologies, Bateman & Hall, and Kendricks Brothers Construction, he was also a helicopter Pilot and traveling construction supervisor. Services will be Friday, March 18, 2015, 11:00AM at the Menan Stake Center. The family will receive friends and family prior to the service from 10:00 – 10:45. Interment will be at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
