Richard Lewis Wise

Richard Lewis Wise, 51, of Idaho Falls passed away Friday September 29th at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah of a sudden illness surrounded by family. Richard was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. Richard was born November 24,1966 to Delbert F and Sharron L Wise. Richard grew up on the farm in Osgood where he learned the value of working hard and playing even harder. Richard was a skilled carpenter and farmer who could do anything. Richard married Lisa Scholes Wise where they raised their blended family; Tyson Wise, Charity Wise, Jordan Wise, Justin Scholes and Nick Scholes.   Richard worked for Clark Construction for many years where he met Dan Clark, Dave Clark, and their mom June who he soon called family as he did with all of his friends.   Richard enjoyed spending time with his family and friends fishing, camping, and playing cards. Richard was always willing to lend a helping hand to whoever need help. Richard later returned to his roots working on farm he enjoyed working with his hand and working on the tractor.   Richard is preceded in death by his parents by his friends Dan & Dave Clark and June Clark “Momma June”. Richard is survived by his wife Lisa Scholes Wise, Tyson Wise; son Jordan Wise; son (Alair) Charity Wise; daughter (Ian) Justin Scholes & Nick Scholes. Linda Kauer; sister (Gary) and Penny Garner; sister.  He is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Richard lived life to the fullest and will be missed by all who knew him. Services will be held October 21, 2017 at Eckersell funeral home in Rigby from 2pm-4pm
