Richard Charles Woods

Richard Charles Woods II, passed away at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Monday, April 2, 2018 He was born January 30, 1953 to Richard Charles (Dick) and Della Connell Woods. He attended schools in Roberts, Rigby and the Technical College of Eastern Idaho.  He served as a missionary in the California Oakland Mission. He worked as a Health Physics Technician in the Nuclear Industry all over the United States but primarily in California and Washington. Richard was sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple and the union brought him a daughter Dedra Woods. He was a dedicated father to Dedra and his son-in-law Kyle Lundquist and also a dedicated grandfather (Poppy) to Claire and Evan. He is survived by his daughter and grandchildren, his mother and four sisters Debra Clapp of Idaho Falls, Derra Ball (Stephen) of Idaho Falls, Danna Hebdon of Roberts, and Drue Beebe (Kevin) of West Richland, Washington. Funeral services will be held Saturday April 7, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., at the Roberts 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, 663 North 2858 East Roberts, Idaho.  The family will visit with friends at the Roberts 2nd ward, Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m.  Interment will be in the Market Lake Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
