RICHLAN Pershing JACOBS age 57 of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at
the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Richlan was born November 27, 1945, in Rexburg,
Idaho, the son of Joseph Pershing Jacobs, and Lucile Schwendiman Jacobs. Richlan was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, and attended the Idaho
Falls Eighth Ward in the Idaho Falls, South Stake. Richlan had participated in the Special
Olympics for several years. He attended the Joshua D. Smith Foundation, the St Leon
Opportunity School, and the Grant Opportunity School, all in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Richlan
worked at Smith’s Grocery Store in Idaho Falls and the Bishop’s Storehouse. Survivors include his Mother: Lucile Osborn of Menan, Idaho. House Parents: Nathan & Kimberly Porter of Idaho Falls, Idaho three sisters, Nikki Jean Mobley of Menan, Idaho Dayna Mae Jacobs of Menan, Idaho, Jetta Lu Jacobs of Menan, Idaho. He was
preceded by his Father Pershing Jacobs, one nephew Brandon Mobley, one niece, Zyrianna Barker, and his grandparents. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 8, 2003 in the Menan 2nd Ward L.D.S. Chapel in Menan, at 1:00 p.m. With Bp. Jerald Raymond officiating, The Family will meet with friends Saturday, 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. prior to service at the Church in Menan. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel of Rigby.
