Rickie Lamoyne Munns

Rickie LaMoyne Munns, passed away Friday March 14, 2014 at Good Samaritan in Idaho Falls of natural causes. Rickie was born March 5, 1949 the oldest child to Ralph Dean Munns and Merle Beazer Munns. He was a happy, adorable, good natured baby. When Rickie was young he was diagnosed with epilepsy, CP, MR, and Microcephaly. He lived at Nampa, Idaho and later was moved to the Preston area to private certified homes. Rickie thrived in those private homes. They brought him in and loved him as their own. He enjoyed being part of a normal, loud, rambunctious family. He had his own unique way of communicating. He is survived by his mother Merle Munns of Idaho Falls, one sister Marnae (Gary) Munns of Idaho Falls, two brothers Bruce Munns of Menan and Kevin (Jeanette) Munns of Riverside, California. He was preceded in death by his father Ralph and two sisters Cynthia Hillman and Wendy Tall. The family expresses their thanks to all his caregivers and staff at Good Samaritan, his caretakers before the Waite’s, Wendy and the Munson’s. Graveside services will be held Wednesday March 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby.
