Ricky Lynn Keele (50) of Lehi, Utah passed away peacefully at his home January 27, 2019 with his family at his side.
Ricky was born September 21, 1968 in American Fork, Utah to Marlene and Bobby Lynn Keele. He spent his growing up years in Orem, Pleasant Grove, and Lehi, Utah. He attended Lehi High School, graduating in 1986. In 2002 he attended Mountain West Training School earning his CDL. On July 15, 1994, he married Pamela Bowler in the Manti Temple; they were blessed with 3 wonderful children.
During high school, he worked at a sewing factory and later worked at an egg farm in Lehi with his mom. Following high school, he worked at the Utah State Correctional Facility (1991-1995), at Granite Furniture (1995-2002), for Old Dominion Freight Line (2003-2005) and most recently helped his wife run their business Little Darlin’ Daycare (2005-2019).
Ricky was a man of many talents; he could sew, was excellent at giving directions and was an experienced handyman who taught his children many useful skills. Above all he was an amazing father and husband who loved his family unconditionally. His fondest memories were made while spending time with his family. He enjoyed deer hunting with his father, fishing, camping, riding ATV’s and going horseback riding. He especially enjoyed family vacations.
Ricky left behind his wife Pamela Keele; their three amazing children, Brittney Lynn Keele, Trevor Auston Keele, Trisha Clarece Keele; his mother, Marlene Keele;
his sisters, Tammy (Jerry) Jones and Treasa (Nate) Bowen; and nine nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Bobby L. Keele, sister Sandra M. Keele, brother Eric J. Keele, grandparents Morris & Evelynn Keele and Ross & Lapreal Cassidy, and father & mother-in-law, Auston Kay & Clarece Bowler.
The family will visit with friends from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the LDS Chapel located at 1929 W. 1500 N. Lehi, UT 84043 and Thursday prior to funeral services at the church from 10:30am to 11:45am.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the LDS Chapel located at 1929 W. 1500 N. Lehi, UT 84043. Burial will follow at the Lehi Cemetery.
