Riley Barney

The man.  The hero.  The legend.  Riley J Barney, 66, born in 1952 in the potato country of Menan, ID, traveled the states with his little family in tow serving his country, and landed, for the majority of his life, in the hot deserts of Tucson, Az.  He had an unmatched zest for life that he passed on to his children through example, whether flying across the sand dunes on 2 wheels, slicing through the sapphire waters of Bear Lake, rebuilding sweet muscle cars, working his magic with wood, savoring every sweet moment by making them lasting memories in the form of a photograph, or spending time with his family whom he cherished above all else.  For 50 years, he embraced the highs and defied the lows of life hand in hand with his forever sweetheart, Tanis Marriott.  While together at their cherished retreat at Bear Lake on September 11, 2018, he returned home to his loving Heavenly Father.  His unfaltering testimony of Jesus Christ and His atonement carried him through this life and he leaves this legacy for his posterity.
