Robert Cary Guinn, 53, of Ririe passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 at his home after a valiant battle with Mesothelioma. He was born August 21, 1960, in Denver, Colorado to Charles Vance Guinn and Jean Francis Burris Guinn. He was raised and attended schools in Byers, Colorado and Rigby, Idaho, he enjoyed wrestling and rodeoing during his high school years. On November 19, 1977, he married Gina Lorraine Howe in Rigby, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple June 13, 1992. They were blessed with 2 daughters and 1 son. Robert was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved camping, 4-wheeling, fishing and riding horses with his family, he also enjoyed hunting. Above all, he loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Gina Lorraine Guinn, daughters; Nacole (Byron) Wilkinson, Camille Guinn, son; Jared (Melissa) Guinn, all of Ririe, grandchildren; Jensen and Charles Wilkinson and Oakley Guinn, sister; Michele Dow, of Aurora, Colorado Uncle; Virgil (Janice) Lampton, of Claremore, Oklahoma and Aunt; Nancy Adas, of Chicago, Illinois, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, infant brother, and twin granddaughters, Faith and Hope Wilkinson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 5, 2014 at the Ririe Stake Center, 14061 N. 130 E. in Ririe. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street in Rigby and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
