Robert H Keele

Robert Keele, 90 of Rexburg, Idaho, passed away peacefully at his home on July 06, 2025.

Robert was born on March 23, 1935, in Rexburg to Henry Keele and Ida Mae Hansen. He grew up in the community and graduated from Madison High School before embarking on a career as a truck driver.

A life long resident of Rexburg, Robert was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He found joy in the outdoors and spent many cherished days hunting, fishing and playing golf. Above all he loved time spent with his grandchildren and family. He was a lifelong cowboy who loved horses and team roping.

Robert is survived by his sons, Stacey (Chantri) Keele of Rexburg, Idaho; and Michael (Kim) Spaulding of Mukilteo, Washington; his daughters, Cristy (Dave) of Salt Lake City, Utah; Carla Spaulding of Boise, Idaho; and Melanie (Todd) Eckman of Seattle, Washington. He is also survived by his sister, Lorna Wilcox of Rexburg, Idaho, and his brother, Marvin Keele of Shelley, Idaho. He has 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeri Keele of Rexburg, Idaho.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rexburg Cemetery.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
