Robert “Bobby” Noble McManigal, 62 passed away on September 19, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada due to complications of cancer. He was born on October 15, 1952 in Greely, Colorado to Agnes Augusta Lepper and Noble Howard McManigal. Bobby was the youngest of 8 children. He was only one year old when the family moved to Irwin, Idaho. Bobby attended the Irwin schools and a rowdy boy he was and that is where he met the love of his life Starla Jan Schneiter. They were married on January 9, 1971 in Swan Valley, Idaho. Bobby learned to drill at a young age and loved the traveling that came with drilling. Bobby and Starla traveled to many states and loved it and the adventures that came with it. In 1971 they welcomed their son Travis and a few years later in 1974 another son Heath was welcomed to the family. He was a hard worker but loved to fish and camp up Tincup, Idaho. Bobby loved his family, and was very proud of his two sons and the men they became. Bobby was a kind, caring, generous man that would do anything for anyone. He lived life to the fullest and will be forever loved and missed by many. Survivors include: wife Starla Schneiter McManigal, a son Travis (Jan) McManigal, Washington, two granddaughter’s Heather McManigal, California, Shanya McManigal, Washington, and three grandsons, Blake McManigal, Wyoming, Brock McManigal, Washington, and Britton McManigal, Washington, 3 sisters and 1 brother. His parents Agnes Augusta McManigal Hansen and Noble McManigal, a son Heath McManigal, 2 sisters Greta Hansen and Rita Bell Byrne and 1 brother Rex McManigal preceded him in death. Services: A viewing on Monday September 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eckersell Funeral Home located at 101 West Main St., Rigby, Idaho 83442. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Pioneer Cemetery located at 4023 Ririe Hwy, Rigby, Idaho 83442.
