Robert “Bobby” Nance, 65, of Rigby, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011.
He was born January 31, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio to Elmer Nance and Mae Irene Jones. He was raised in Cleveland and attended schools there. He served in the US Navy from 1963 to 1966 and achieved the rank of E4 BT3.
Robert worked as a Water Softener Salesman, and retired in 2009. He was an outstanding salesman and received many national awards recognizing his accomplishments. He enjoyed fishing and bartering.
He is survived by his daughters, Traci L. Gross, and Fiancé Jon Loving, of Clinton TN, Llori A. Nance, and Fiancé Willie Dice, of Fairmont, NC, Sheri L. Yook, and husband Brian Yook, of Clinton TN, Grandchildren, DJ Gross, Will Housley Jr., Jacob Gross, Courtney Housley, Jessie Brock, Danny Brock, sisters, Beverly Beuck, of Mentor, OH, Diane Small, of West Salem, OH, brothers, Wayne Nance, of Lodi CA, Fred Nance, of Carson City, NV, and Mike Felicko, of Cleveland OH.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer E. Nance, mother, Mae I. Felicko, and a brother, John Felicko.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., April 25, 2011, at Knoxville National Cemetery, 939 Tyson Street N.W. Knoxville, TN 37917.
