Robert Leo Otto, 72 of St. Anthony, Idaho passed away Tuesday, July 14th, 2020 at his home following a lingering illness.

Robert was born March 10, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri to John Leo Otto and Evalee Stephens Otto. He moved to Ashton, Idaho at the age of 18 where he graduated from North Fremont High. He attended 2 years at the University of Idaho pursuing a degree in accounting. He returned to Ashton where he worked with his father at their saw mill. Later they moved the saw mill to St. Anthony where he met his wife Wendy "Dusty" Young. They married Jan, 28, 1978 and had 2 children Derric and Nemmannie. After the saw mill, he started working at Artco as a press operator where he worked for 26 years.

He enjoyed working on his 1968 Torino GT, working on their hobby farm tending to the livestock and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Wendy "Dusty" Otto of St. Anthony; children, Derric (Crystal Gay) Otto of Rigby, Nemmannie (Rickie) Erickson of St. Anthony; brother, Terry (Catherine) Otto of Sacramento, California; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Evalee Otto.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 17, 2020 at the Wilford Cemetery in St. Anthony, Idaho. Services are under the care of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com
