Robert Lee Snider

Robert Lee Snider, born in San Marcos, Texas on August 18th, 1956, to Shirley Marie Cox and Norman Bruce Snider. He graduated earthly life on August 11th, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Robert was the husband of Terri Rae (Daffer) Snider, with whom he shared a life filled with love, family, and treasured memories. He was the proud father of Amber Terese Wilcox and Krystopher Ross Snider. Father-in-law to Daniel Wilcox whom he loved dearly. Extremely proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 7.

He was blessed to be the brother to Tim Snider (Renea), Mark Snider (Anelia), Jeff Mallory (Lynne), Bruce Snider, Chris Snider, David Mallory (Susan) and Johnny Matt Snider.

He was also blessed to be the brother-in-law to his wife Terri’s sisters and their husbands. Sharon & Jeff Andrews, Debra and Jeff Hochstrasser and Laurie and Lane Smith.

He had numerous nieces and nephews who he was also very proud of.

Robert dedicated much of his life to serving his country. A career military man, he spent many years serving in both the United States Army and United States Air Force, including two tours during the Iraq War. He was a true patriot who loved his country deeply and was equally proud of his home state of Texas.

Outside of his military service, Robert had a love for music and enjoyed singing karaoke. He liked to play chess with his own made-up rules (even if he never would admit to that) he loved reading, telling stories, writing poems, learning and collecting fun toys. He loved adventure and planning his next fun purchase to decorate his “party space” aka his room. He enjoyed tinkering and building model airplanes and rockets when his kids were younger. He was a dreamer, always talking about and dreaming of fun places to visit. Some of his happiest times were those spent with his wife and family. He also loved to go fishing—even if, as his family would lovingly tell you, he didn’t ever catch much.

He was proceeded in death by his amazing wife Terri, his mom Shirley and stepdad John, his father Bruce and stepmom Mickey, and His brothers David and Johnny Matt.

Graveside services will be held September 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery, 2270 E 500 N, St. Anthony, Idaho.

Robert will be remembered for his love of family and God, his devotion to his country, his Texas pride, and the memories he created with those closest to him.

He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who loved him.
