Robert Steven Hurley, 63 of Salt Lake City, Utah died Thursday, September 12, 2013 at his home. He was born April 8, 1950, in Idaho Falls, to Robert Hurley and Dorothy Jean Storer Hurley. He was raised and attended schools in Rigby, graduating from Rigby High School in 1968. He continued his education at Stevens-Henagar College. He worked for TP Gallery, and owned Kiva Art Gallery. He worked for PAC Trucking and for the District Attorney in Salt Lake City. Robert enjoyed Art, especially Native American Artwork, and jewelry; he loved flowers, and his dog Oscar. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Hurley of Rigby, and sister, Carolyn Openshaw of Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and brothers, Bruce Hurley and Mark Hurley. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 20, 2013 at Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Friday, prior to services at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby.
