Robert L. Walker, 75, of Rigby, Idaho, died October 13, 2007, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Robert was born October 2, 1932, in Bellingham, Washington a son of George S. Walker and Anna Marie Walker - Cain. He was raised and attended schools in the Bellingham Area.
He married Arlene Joan Murray on August 26, 1960 in Bellingham Washington. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Oeser Cedar Company in Bellingham Washington, then for Intalco Aluminum Plant in Ferndale Washington until 1979.
Bob attended Calvary Chapel in Idaho Falls, Idaho; He loved living in the country, the outdoors, watching wildlife and hunting Elk, Deer, Ducks and Geese. Bob loved his family most of all.
Survivors include his wife Arlene Walker of Rigby, ID, two daughters: Carrie Lyn Walker and Michelle Lynette Walker- Staats and Dan Staats (son-in-law) all from Rigby, ID one sister Irene Hayes of Ferndale WA, four brothers George Walker, of Cherry Point, NC, Neil Walker, of Concrete, WA, Frank Cain, of Deming, WA, Carl Cain, of WA, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Ann and Margaret and two brothers Don and John.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Little Butte Cemetery, Pastor Rick Brown officiating.
