Robert Hyrum Williams, age 80, of Rigby, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Robert was born February 17, 1941 in Murray, Utah a son to Irvin Hyrum Williams and Eunice May Jones Williams.

He attended The University of Utah and BYU

He married Carol Eilene Moss, November 16, 1962 in the Manti, Utah Temple.  They lived in Sandy, Utah, Riverton, Utah, Rexburg, Idaho and settled in Rigby, Idaho.  Bob worked throughout his life as a Salt Lake County Court Clerk, and constable, as an Energy Auditor for Utah Power and Light, as a legal process server, a foster care provider, delivered newspapers with his kids and was a hobby dairy farmer.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints;  he served a fulltime mission to the Northern California Mission, served in the Scouting Program, Sunday School, Young Mens Presidency, on the Stake High Council, taught temple prep classes and served as a Ward Missionary.  He enjoyed reading, writing, storytelling, hiking, fishing and especially family.

He is survived by his wife Carol of Rigby, his children: Lauri Palmer (Steve), Debbi Naff (Ed), Alisa Smith (Todd), David Williams (Christina), Matthew Williams (Katrina), Travis Williams (Heather), Justin Williams (Melinda), Justicia Stahlecker (Shonn) and Josh Williams (Mindy), 30 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Irvin and Eunice Williams and grandchildren: Aiden S. Williams and Emma Jane Williams.

The family will visit with friends at the Rigby Stake Center, 258 West 1 ^st North, Rigby, Idaho 83442, Saturday April 10, 2021 from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.  Funeral will be at 12:00 p.m. at the stake center.  Interment will follow services at Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
